Told in Their Own Words: Push-to-Talk Client Integration from Intrepid Networks and ESChat

One of the most impactful advances that high-performance mobile broadband brings for public safety operations centers on situational awareness tools. Intrepid Networks is an early innovator in this arena with its modular Common Operating Picture client application enabling command, control, and coordination across disparate responding agencies.

At IACP 2022, Intrepid Networks introduced mutual aid capabilities that ease the integration of collaborating agency personnel. Now, in 2023, Intrepid Networks is highlighting integration with the widely deployed ESChat Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PTToC) suite that operates on FirstNet and other mobile networks. The capability is valuable because it can serve as a common voice channel for all participants on a mission without the challenges of integrating talk paths from various LMR systems.
