Told in Their Own Words: Response Solutions from Verizon Frontline

Demonstrated at: #FDIC2023

Verizon Frontline brought a broad set of assets to the FDIC 2023 exhibition. A highlight of the exhibit was the Verizon Frontline Rapid Response Connected Unit (RRCU). The small-scale deployable is an on-demand, one-person, self-contained unit that agencies can configure for Viasat GEO, MEO, or LEO satellite access.

Verizon took advantage of FDIC to showcase its Major Emergency Response Incident Team (MERIT) command vehicle. For more than 30 years, the MERIT team has responded to Verizon system outages that require repairs under hazardous conditions.

Recent public safety support from Verizon Frontline has extended into the realm of video, robotics, and drones. At FDIC, Verizon Frontline staff showed capabilities and described recent training evolutions that leveraged their capabilities for wide-area digital surveillance.

Of course, what would a Verizon Frontline exhibition be without Verizon's THOR? The large multi-function 5G platform stood out on the show floor.

Thanks to Verizon's Assistant Vice President, Public Safety Cory Davis for the comprehensive tour of Verizon's FDIC exhibit stand.
