Told in Their Own Words: Push to Talk over Cellular Interoperability from ESChat
Demonstrated at: #IWCE23
ESChat offers a remarkable range of interoperability solutions that bring together mobile broadband push-to-talk over cellular, digital and analog radio communications, and vital software applications such as console and recording systems. At IWCE 2023, the company highlighted its wide range of integrations as well as the new addition of ESChat support on the Tait AXIOM wearable.
Integrations demonstrated live included the Tait Communications AXIOM, Tait P25 handsets, JVCKenwood P25, Mindshare console application, Zetron MAX Dispatch console application, and the Exacom HindSight recording system. ESChat focuses on delivering diverse interoperability with an over-the-top (OTT) mobile operator-agnostic solution.
While an OTT solution, ESChat has secured important network-level optimizations from FirstNet, enabling robust performance for push-to-talk responsiveness. For network operators providing Quality of Service, Priority, and Preemption, ESChat users retain the benefits of that operational environment. It is important to note that ESChat offers a proprietary approach to mobile communications protocols, which is well-established and trusted by large-scale public safety operations such as Global Medical Response. Using a proprietary approach means this is not a 3GPP Mission Critical Push to Talk (MC-PTT) offer.
Thanks to industry veteran and ESChat CEO Josh Lober for the latest update on interoperability progress at ESChat.
